In a surprising partnership that challenges conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of banned ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden sect.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Extra Features
Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
